כמה מילים שקטיה כתבה על עצמה:

My name is Katya. I live in Belarus in Minsk – its capital. I'm a great admirer of Belarusian history, nature, culture and traditions. One can find sights for any taste here – cultural, industrial, military, natural, architectural, and others.
Being a student of the faculty of history in Belarussian University I took part in archeological excavations in the area of the former Jewish ghetto in Minsk. I always was interested in historical heritage of my country; however the excavations gave me a powerful impulse to the development of interest to the Jewish heritage of our land. The time I spent there with archeological team influenced my mind so much that since I graduated from the faculty of history in 2009 I’ve been working with Jewish history mostly. Working in the National Historical Archive of Belarus I realized that so many people all over the world have roots from Belarus! Parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, uncles and aunts and other relatives… I thought, it would be wonderful for their descendants to have the opportunity to see the place where they were born, wouldn’t it? The longer I dealt with the issue, the deeper my interest to this topic became. So I finished specialized courses and got official license to work as a guide.
Within the years I’ve spent in this activity I saw a lot of people from all parts of the world, speaking different languages, their ancestral archival data were different as well as their life stories, they all have various reactions seeing the paternal and maternal villages and towns, but all the guests have a thing in common – Belarusian land gave birth to their ancestors. And I’m happy to provide the possibility to visit it.
