Jacob Meyer Tanenbaum, was born in Motol on 10 December 1868.
His father was Yehuda Leib Halevi Tenenbaum.
Jacob Tanebaum came to the U.S.A. in 1901, and was one of the founders of the Anshe Motele Shul in Chicago in 1903.
He passed away on 9 January 1941, and is buried in the Anshe Motele Section
of the Waldheim Cemetery, Forest Park, Illinois.
